Daily Picture - screen of guilt
I was very frustrated at Natalie yesterday morning when I left so I did not snap a picture before school. But mommy guilt gnawed at me at all day until finally I left work early so I could be there when she got home. She was bubbly and happy and told me she completely understood why I was upset. We shared some lingering hugs before settling into homework and work. Some days I love being a Mother but other days I just appreciate the awesomeness of a child.

Caption makes sense if you read yesterday's blog first. And she got a lift to school because I drove back home after going to the dentist at 7:00 am today. Tom left at 4:30 am for Shanghai so she had to get herself up for school. Just wanted to make sure she actually made it to school with teeth brushed.
