In preparing for our immiment vacation to Singapore, ran across this article from one of my fav China writers. While I love the idea of Singapore (clean, most western-like City in Asia, great food, more shopping than Hong Kiong, gambling, and did I mention clean?), I have to remember that every place has it's struggles!

Daily Picture Project - Day 144
Every other Thursday morning usually results in completing Math homework at breakfast. Every other Wednesday is Girl Scouts and I usually pack us off to Slice for dinner rather than heading home to cook. This morning she was converting fractions to %'s. Enough to ruin anyone's morning!

Well, Natalie played hooky from school today. Got to hang out with Jamie and Lauren. We also had a new friend, Kaitlyn Hendricks, who was in town with her mother on business. We went ice skating at the Mercedes Benz Arena over at the Expo area.

Daily Picture Project - Day 135
Back to normal, sort of. Miller's are staying at the house so we have to incorporate! Natalie's idea was to make a grave and sweep it for QingMing Day. A day late (we has off yesterday for this holiday), but still good!

Daily Picture Project - Day 134
I "missed" putting a picture out here Monday. And guilt has set in. Natalie was sick Monday (really sick, not fake sick) and so the day slipped by without a picture of her (I blame the 1 1/2 hours sleep I got!). But, decided that since I make the rules for this, I can adjust them if needed. So, here is a picture of what Natalie DID NOT do Monday! The Miller's are here in Shanghai visiting and the Fanset girls had Monday off, so we went bowling and got ice cream.
